Hospital cost study
This comprehensive and independent cost study was undertaken to evaluate a number of structural frame options for construction of a four-storey, 480 bed Acute Care Hospital with operating theatres, and a two-storey, 96-bed Community Hospital. Six floor design options were evaluated, budget costings were assigned to all elements of construction and adjustments were made to reflect time-related costs attributable to differences in the construction programme.
