Concrete is a fundamentally important material to offsite construction. Precast and pre-stressed units provide elements such as the structural frame, supporting columns, panels, beams, flat slabs and volumetric solutions. These can be used to create most a variety of building types and throughout these sessions you will hear from some of the UK’s leading precast concrete solution providers.

Visit The Concrete Centre - Stand D17

Precast concrete is an established offsite solution for our buildings and infrastructure and the current drive for factory production, and modern methods of construction (MMC) has led to greater investment in UK concrete manufacturing facilities and new innovative solutions. Visit The Concrete Centre stand (Stand D17) for guidance on:

  • precast concrete systems and solutions for high rise and low-rise buildings and homes.
  • performance and sustainability credentials of concrete.
  • specification information on pre-designed, factory-produced concrete structural elements; bespoke, architectural precast concrete and modular components such as stairs, lift cores and bathroom pods.
  • non-combustibility and the design implications post-Grenfell, and the recent Barking fire.
