The 2026 competition is now finished. Many thanks to all the universities and students who entered the competition and congratulations to our joint winners - University of East London and Queens University Belfast, and to the winner of the Sustainability prize - University of Leeds.

The brief for the Structural Concrete 2027 competition is being finalised and will be available soon.

The competition offers a stimulating and fun challenge to students, while supporting the curricula of civil and structural engineering departments of UK universities.

Because it is so flexible, Structural Concrete 2027 can easily be incorporated into existing university curricula, with content that reflects an independent project, a group project or a module assessment run over the first, second or both semesters of the academic year.
