Concrete blocks are a cost-effective, and tried and tested means of providing load-bearing and non-load-bearing walls. Types of blocks range from ultra lightweight and lightweight aggregate through to dense aggregate blocks, with a corresponding range of performance properties.

Crosswall construction is an effective and efficient method of offsite construction that employs factory-produced, precision engineered, concrete structural components. It uses precast concrete floors and load-bearing walls ideal for buildings of a cellular nature, for example hotels, student accommodation, housing and apartments.

Insulating concrete formwork (ICF) is a simple construction system using purpose made insulating panels or blocks as the permanent formwork for in-situ concrete. The block and panel ICF systems use either expanded polystyrene insulation (EPS) or extruded polystyrene (XPS).

Thin joint blockwork (thin joint masonry) is a fast, clean, accurate system for construction using autoclaved aerated concrete blocks of close dimensional tolerance with 2mm-3mm mortar joints.This solution is recognised as a modern method of construction. 

Tilt-up construction involves site-casting the concrete walls of a building on its floor slab or on a separate casting bed and then tilting and lifting them into position by crane.

Tunnel form is a formwork system that allows the contractor to cast walls and slabs in one operation in a daily cycle. The result is a cellular reinforced structure, the surfaces of which are sufficiently high quality to require only minimal finishing for direct decoration.

Twinwall construction is a hybrid concrete walling system that combines precast and in-situ concrete. The prefabricated panels comprise two slabs separated and connected by cast-in lattice girders. The units are placed, temporarily propped, then joined by reinforcing and concreting the cavity on site.
